At first she had a hard time adjusting but by the end she loved the class! She made friends and was able to try a great new adventure.
I think it is really important to encourage our kids to get out of their comfort zone to try new things even if they don't want to. It is good for them.
Here are some pictures from the show.
The fabulous cast:

I only one complaint. I think the lines of communication are a bit fuzzy. I received a paper in January telling us how to make the costumes for our kids. So, I set out to make an elephant costume!

This picture doesn't show the shortened ears.
So, FIVE days before the performance I find out that they aren't wearing costumes but t-shirts and jeans. That someone was in charge of the ears and trunks. Then I had to dish out $10.00 for a t-shirt. After buying and making my elephant costume per the paper they sent out in January.
I was disappointed that Lil O didn't get to wear her costume. That's my only complaint.
All in all I was really pleased with Asheville Arts Center and The Jungle Book. I look forward to doing other shows in the future with them. Be sure to check out their site to find all the wonderful things they offer!
